As part of their jobs in the early education teaching sector, teachers have to pick the skill of making good images. Be it for daily documentation of student life, incident reporting, achievement records or celebration highlights, these teachers are at the forefront of these events. In order to capture these moments, the school has provided them the opportunity to learn basic mobile photography skills as part of their welfare package, so that they will be able to capture decent images when the need arises.
This workshop was a 2 hour session that covered the basics of photography. We shared about 3 basic techniques in composition, how to adjust your exposure and what makes a good image. We walked from Bayfront MRT station to the SG 50 Lattice and that allowed us to be exposed to both indoor / sheltered and outdoors settings to let the learners experience photographing in different environments.
